BBQ BACON & WHISKY SAUCE
Ingredients
2 cups ketchup
100ml Ardbeg whisky 10 year old
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cracked pepper
1 clove garlic crushed
1/4 cup Worchester sauce
2 TBSP brown sugar
4 pieces streaky bacon
1/2 brown onion finely chopped
Method
1-Cook streaky bacon until crispy then remove and dice into small pieces
2-Combine all ingredients in a pot and heat on a medium to low temp for 5-10 minutes stirring well. Once all ingredients have heated let the sauce simmer and serve on your choice of meat or burgers!
